We are proud to present you the new Strojniški vestnik – Journal of Mechanical Engineering website in Slovenian and English language. Strojniški vestnik – Journal of Mechanical Engineering publishes theoretically and practically oriented articles dealing with the issues of modern technology (power and process engineering, mechanical design and machine construction, mechanics and materials etc.). The journal covers activities such as design, construction, operation, environmental protection and others in the field of mechanical engineering and closely related disciplines.

512 Slovenian companies producing machinery and equipment employed 14.422 workers in 2006, realising a total turnover of 1,3 billion €; 758 million € thereof on foreign markets. The export share exceeds 60% and the value-added per employee amounts to 25.740€. In 2006, the branch was exhibiting growth by all indicators, increasing turnover by 16%, export by 27% and value-added by 5,5%.
