Based on this criterion and using the Pro/ENGINEER computer-aided-design software, the required mass of the balance weight was obtained. The results from the model were confirmed by our experiments. By using the gradient-optimisation method, the optimum size and position of the balance weight with respect to the minimisation of the aileron mass were achieved.},
