	abstract = {In the paper the dynamics of a cutting mechanism for polymer sheets is analyzed. Using this assumption the kinematic and dynamic properties of the mechanism are determined. In particular, the influence of the cutting force on the input angular velocity of the leading element is analyzed. In addition, the interaction of geometrical and dynamical properties of the mechanism and of the cutting force is investigated. Angular velocity is a function of the cutting force, damping and inertia properties of the system. Variation of the angular velocity of the driving motor are calculated analytically and numerically. Analytically obtained results are in a good agreement with numerical ones.},

In the paper the dynamics of a cutting mechanism for polymer sheets is analyzed.
