In the first part this paper presents the basic mechanisms that affect the speed of processes. In the second part an example of a practical implementation of information technology (IT) application created by Genis is given. Due to the wide variety of processes and users the tool has to have the ability to adapt to the different processes and the different stakeholders in order to allow effective and rapid actions. This solution has been successfully implemented in a number of Slovenian companies.},
