The balanced scorecard management performance system is a very suitable tool for the assimilation of ISO 14001 in everyday activities and across the whole management system. Therefore, the research presented in this paper focuses on an analysis of EMS integration into the classical model of the Balanced Scorecard. It is suggested that in this way organisations could improve environmental performance through the implementation of the strategy.},
